Alright, when you FIRST started editing, and started to get into the AMV community, could be before or after. Name your favorite editors that you admired, looked up too as you started editing. Post your favorite AMV from each one of your admirers. Here is my list. Chiikaboom: I really looked up to chii, with her a awesome in your face style. This video is one of my favorite videos from her. Here's one of my favorite videos from chii. "Fluffy Kittens & Rainbows"KahloReiva007: Think Tony was my first inspiration when I started editing he made videos with feels, as well with awesome synced action videos back in 2010. I REALLY think this is video right here is one of the main reasons why I got into post rock. Clannad feels. <3 "Fading"Nostromo: Anyone that loves trance, or upbeat AMVs, I'm pretty sure that Nostromo was one of of the people that you look up to. As a big Trance/House lover this guy right here really got me into editing trance. I recieved a lot of "I wanna be Nostromo comments" but it never bugged me. I think I have my own trance style compared to his. He's a reason why I wanted to learn 60fps for AMVs. Heres my favorite video from him. "Auriga"Zetzu: Zetzu was an amazing person, such passion, such dedication with everything he did. His videos just always seem to hit right on, with everything. So much can be said how amazing he was and still is. For Zetzu, I have two favorite videos haha "More Than Enough""Our Farewell"

I should warn, this may be a little long, gomens For me it was
Koopiskeva His videos had a certain technical essence that I wanted to emulate so badly, and his sense of flow beat out almost any other video at the time.
Nostromo When I first saw his video "Magic Pad" it hit me in a way I'm not sure I can put into words, it was as if the video sources he used were made specifically for his videos.
ErMaC Despite the fact that he was a jerk in person, his videos were amazing. (And if I could find any of them, I'd show you)
Now, I look up to a new group of editors, whose videos move me and give me even more drive to edit and become better.
Chiikaboom The first of her videos that I saw was "Attack of the Otaku" and at the time I'd been contemplating getting out of editing, then after seeing it, it put a sense of motivation into my heart that I'd not felt before. The rest of her videos pushed me even more to become a better editor, but Attack of the Otaku was the most important to me
I have a bit more editors that I look up to, but It's quite possibly too many to list here.

I've been following AMVs for quite some time, but I've never really edited until quite recently. The videos that got me into AMVs initially were:
Naruto Phenomenon - Sierra Lorna
This video practically was my gateway AMV
Of course I couldn't miss Skittles. This set my interest in AMVs ablaze
The video that got me thinking about making AMVs after seeing it on reddit was:
The video that inspired me to make my first video was Zetsu's "More Than Enough"
As of now, Niotex is my senpai and I really admire Centurione and haunter103 (that god like lip sync) sorry for the huge post
tl;dr Sierra Lorna, Ileia, Magnus, and Koop are pretty cool Niotex is my senpai and Centurione and haunter103 are pretty cool too.

Chiika was definitely my biggest, and since two of her best (IMO) AMVs have already been posted, I won't post them. XD Phenomenon and Skittles were also amazing. Looking at my favorite AMV playlist on my first and original Youtube account, ZetZu (ZetZu4real) was also a big favorite. The AMVs that originally inspired me though, really aren't that great now that I see them today. One of my favorite AMVs is also now gone, probably because the editor stopped editing or just left Youtube, and my favorite editor who inspired me the most, also used very heavy effects and wasn't on Youtube. I forgot the name of the site now, I think it was like LiveVideo or something idk... Veoh also had some pretty good ones. Anywho being a huge Wolf's Rain fan, these are all Wolf's Rain and were what I watched all the time back then. You Can't Take MeThanks for The MemoriesSomewhere Only We KnowWolves Can Walk on WaterThere are several others that I think are now gone (11 videos on my original playlist are deleted, lol), like Sound the Bugle, It's My Life, and Fallen Leaves (Fallen Leaves had 100k views, can't seem to find it now, just similar videos).

SilentMan:
He's the one that I have admired the most since after watching his video "Nodame Overture", which has became my most favorite by him then soon his video "Drawn Dream". I like the way on how he chooses his music.
Gidra:
His videos always surprise me and they turn out really cool!
"TY Logika 2"
Animated:
A really cool dude with some really cool videos. I remember looking at this video when I starting to edit more. It really became my inspiration back then.
"Life is Beautiful"
KuroUnmei
His videos always gives me some inspiration even til this day.
"Hello Beautiful Shy Girl"
Koopiskeva:
When I first started editing I remember looking at this video and I was like "OMG Haruhi? This is really cool!". I was so surprised that I started to edit with that type of music.
"Skittles"
